Slouch Potato is built to work without collecting your personal data.

Motion data

With your permission, the app reads head-orientation data from compatible headphones through Apple's Core Motion framework. It is processed on your iPhone to estimate posture and is never sent to us.

What's stored

Your settings, calibration, and session history (times and posture totals) are stored only on your iPhone, in the app's private storage. If your device backups include app data, they are part of your iCloud or computer backup under Apple's terms.

No accounts, ads, or tracking

The app has no sign-in, no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking across apps or websites.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive no payment information. The app checks your subscription status with the App Store on your device.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes its local data from your iPhone. Device backups are managed through Apple. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

This website and support requests

This support website has no analytics scripts, advertising, or contact form. Our hosting provider may process ordinary technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and secure the site. If you email us, your email provider and ours process your message, and we use the information you voluntarily send to respond to your request. Avoid sending sensitive personal information or raw motion data.
